1. About these terms

These Terms of Service govern the packing, moving, transport and storage services provided by Agarwal Packers and Movers ("we", "us", "our"), with its head office at 175, EC Road, Race Course, Dehradun, Uttarakhand 248001. By requesting a quote or booking a move with us, you agree to these terms.

2. Quotations and pricing

Quotations are provided after a pre-move survey or based on the information you share with us. The final price depends on the actual volume of goods, distance, access conditions and any additional services requested. We aim to keep our written quotation accurate; any material change in scope on the move day will be discussed with you before work continues.

3. Your responsibilities

  • Provide accurate details about the goods, addresses and access (lifts, stairs, parking).
  • Carry valuables, cash, jewellery and important documents personally.
  • Declare any hazardous, perishable or prohibited items in advance — we cannot transport these.
  • Be available (or nominate someone) at pickup and delivery for inventory checks.

4. Liability and insurance

We handle your belongings with professional care. Transit protection is available and recommended; the level of cover and any claims process will be explained at the time of booking. Our liability is limited to the terms of the cover selected. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, items packed by the customer, or delays caused by weather, road conditions or events beyond our control.

5. Payments

A booking advance may be required to confirm your move date. The balance is payable as agreed in your quotation, typically on delivery after inspection of goods. We accept cash, UPI, bank transfer and cards.

6. Cancellations

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please inform us as early as possible. Advance amounts may be adjusted against a rescheduled move. Cancellation terms will be confirmed at the time of booking.
